TAYLOR GRAVES

Singer, songwriter, musician, and now Grammy award winning producer —Taylor Graves is widely acclaimed within the R&B/Pop, Jazz, Funk & Electronic circuits of Los Angeles. Recognized behind-the-scenes as a vocalist, composer, and keys instrumentalist, his work heavily contributes to an ever-shifting musical landscape with ingenuity and originality.

Graves holds credits with a variety of esteemed artists like Thundercat, Flying Lotus, Mac Miller, Kimbra, Kamasi Washington and more. He has also recorded with a multitude of legendary artists ranging from Dr. Dre, Ty Dolla sign, DJ Battlecat, Mark Anthony, Lianne La Havas, Skrillex and Gavin Turek to name a few. Not only is he a highly esteemed producer, but performer and master musician aswell.

In 2015, Graves joined Kimbra on her world tour for her second album, The Golden Echo, for which he is also credited as a producer. Graves is diverse within his musical genres. From dark, grimey bass with Wicked Wisdom, to technical precision with jazz giant Stanley Clarke, the soundscapes are unparalleled.

Most recently, he composed additional music for "Hair Love," the 2020 short film oscar-winner. His composition for films began in 2008 with the movie "The Human Contract," produced by Jada Pinkett Smith. He also scored a number of her episode series titled "Hawthorne" on TNT. Graves released his own singles, "Are You Ready" and "Love on a Sailboat" in March of 2019 via Omega Supreme Records, unveiling an original West Coast take on R&B with hip hop/electronic synth beats, and tantalizing Moog composition. A polymath in combining his musicianship alongside his arrangement skills, his technique comes from a lineage of talented artistry.
